I paid $29 for this kit, and I can't seem to get it to work right. It all seems to be a calibration issue. I do not use the shoes but I did get a holster for the sensor that attaches to the my laces. I spent a frustrating amount of time trying to get it to calibrate. After walking 45 minutes I assumed it was working okay, and I check the distance it says I went and it says I went like 3/4 of a mile! No way I only went that distance, this is not why I bought this thing!
Anyone know if I can get it adjusted at the apple store or someplace?

You got further than me. I keep getting " walk around to calibrate your settings".

Worst $29 bucks I ever spent. Fuck it. Go out and enjoy yourself. Who cares how far you went or how long it takes.

I am a little dissapointed that Apple would make a product or be involved with something so difficult. Usually they make stuff easy to use.
I got it working a little better on my Nano than on my Touch. Its just so hard to read the screen on the Nano when you are walking.

I just picked up one of these for my chick and myself. I need to pick up a new iphone or Nano in order to get the thing to work.

My shoes do have the insert so I'm hoping to have better luck with them. I'll keep the tread posted.

Anyone else using it?
