I can't believe it was a bit. As bad as MLC wants to be an EYE-talian, he would not risk Italian superstitions by joking about his baby dying.

Also, can anyone remind me of the last bit that R&F played that the listeners weren't in on from the beginning? The only bit that I remember that comes close is the Midnight Rider, and only so far as whether ESD would stay or would he remain the Rider. I also, question how Pitzy left, only because it seems unbelievable that he would really leave over a game. Unless, he already had one foot out the door.

I just don't see all these masterful R&F bits. They are hysterical, but not great at planning ahead.

Lastly, I think there are few "lines" you can't cross in humor. But, joking about a friend or acquaintance's baby dying might be one, if the only one. I think it is physiological. Even when I heard Stanley was at risk, I felt a pain in my stomach. We are wired to protect babies, all babies.

good point, CCC. I think a lot of Fez's misguided attacks/over the top anger (Casey, Ledouski) come from him trying to "stand up for himself" but not knowing how to pull it off.
