In a turn of events, his door was knocked on and he got the grand prize!
Did he have family?
If so, condolences.

He started his television career in Philadelphia. Always liked Ed. He'll be missed.

Ed McMahon, the longtime pitchman and Johnny Carson sidekick who's "Heeeeeeerre's Johnny!" became a part of the vernacular, has died.

Yeah, he had family. I met him once at the Bronx Zoo a few years ago. He was with some of his grandchildren.
Nice guy. RIP Ed.

Who's going to tally the numbers for Jerry Lewis during his telethon?
Bone cancer, pneumonia, broken neck, in the hospital since February. It was time.

I heard that the only burial they could afford was to stick him in a mayonaise jar under Funk and Wagnall's porch.
