Having my chick move in with me. We had only been together for about 6 months but it just felt right. We've now lived together for about 15 months and I can't imagine living without her. I can't stand it even when she is gone for a long weekend to visit friends in other cities. We compliment each other very well.

Not settling and waiting until I found the kind of woman I wanted to marry. So many people said Id never find the type of girl I wanted, that they arent around in this millenium. I proved them wrong and married one of the great ones.

Seriously though, I didnt see what forum this was, and it didnt seem to be a sensitive issue, so im sure Gvac could take a little jokin.

The real answer is not posting here anymore, whenever that happens

They are out there brother. Just be patient and enjoy as much strange tang as you can until you find her. I know its tough for alot of people. I personally enjoy my alone time and really didnt have a problem with loneliness. Some people cant take that so they rush into something they later regret.

i totally agree with this. i had the worst luck with women (well documented in a few of my threads). several years ago, there was a chick i fell hard for and we hung out a bunch and she pretty much shit all over me by not giving me the respect i deserved. i told myself that i wouldn't go out looking for a new chick for awhile and just see what happens. three days later, i met my current chick by going out with some friends who were meeting some other friends for drinks. she was one of their friends and we hit it off. pretty much been together every day since then. it will be two years in september. seems like when you stop looking for someone to be with, you find the one you were meant to be with.

I have three that tie for the best : my college decision, my decision to stay in NYC for law school, and my decision early in my law career to not try for partner at my law firm, but to stay there and build my skills and my relationships.

All of that led to my life now with my wife and kids.

Leaving college (2x) to search out a job/career that both utilizes my skill set and gives my life a greater meaning (I am giving myself until 30 to at least be on my way). If I didn't leave school, I would probably be the same person I was in high school, working at an engineering firm sitting behind a desk staring at a stack of papers until I turn 65 (scary thought now that I think about it). Leaving gave me the opportunity to gain some perspective on everything.
