I jjust got a supply of these berries on eBay and an trying them now for the first time. I had heard a lot of good things about this berry, and wanted to try it out. It is suppose to be like a super anti-oxidant and have all these amazing benefits.
Here (http://www.health-report.co.uk/goji_berry.html) is a little on it.
Has anyone tried them or know anything about it? Any positives or negatives?

The ones I have are dried and look about raisin sized, but not juicy like a raisin, and it has a slight weird taste, like tart and weirdly sweet with like a hint of odd crunch at the same time. Not that great tasting to tell you the truth. I kind of hoped they would taste better. But its not bad either. They are reddish looking just like the picture above.

We bought a large bag of them from Costco a few years ago when they were all the rage. They are just as bad as raisins. A large bag minus a few handfuls went into the trash; we had the healthiest garbage on the block.

i understand that over-use of anti-oxidants makes your imune system weaker.

I am only eating these in severe moderation, like maybe an 8th of a cup a day.
