For me; when I got out of the Army in 99 I was trying to finish my degree so I was in school full time and starting my career in research. I went 1.5 years without even dating until I met my ex-wife. I was with her for nearly 7 years after that. More recently I went nearly a year without, this was right after I left my ex-wife. I had met someone via online dating that broke this trend but then she had way too much drama occurring in her life. Even more recent, someone who I had a crush on 20 years ago in the 9th grade came back into my life, but there are some issues so I will not go into them here.

Either way, in my early 20s I went no more than 2 mos without, my shortest relationship was 6 months, and then I turned 28, had a major dry spell and met my ex. It was quite the interesting time during my dry spell versus the more recent one because I was much more horny yet had zero time to focus on it.
