Both "Akira" & "Ninja Scroll" are nice, but you have to check out "Vampire Hunter D" & also
"The Profesional: Galgo-13" its an old one buts its really good.

do you know they made a game for Vampire Hunter D? It's on the PS1 system. Graphics are good, story's a little weak.

Akira is damn good, but I personally would probably rate Princess Mononoke above it.
And for sentimental reasons, Vampire Hunter D (the original) rates high upon my list, just because it was the first anime that I ever saw.

i think Princess Mononoke is the greatest anime. the story is just so complex (like akira), yet understandable (unlike akira). and anything with claire danes rocks-- even if its just her voice
I swear, it's not contagious!

I meant the DVD / VHS release.
The theatrical release was only in a few select cities. This is the wide release of the film for your home viewing pleasure.
