Get a website together, or get into a phone book. All the large phonebook companies also have internet products linked to their search engines.

I started advertising my wifes cakes on Facebook. Weve actually been getting quite a few orders. Next step is a website. If shes on FB and has alot of friends its not a bad place to start.

I was thinking of doing something like this too, like birthday party themes and such. I was just going to send out a shout on Facebook and my friends and hope to start word of mouth and then continue onto bigger and better things if it worked. The thing I was unsure is if people had the money to afford a party planner.

but u dont have to take my word for it....not like i make half my living on throwing kids parties or anything:laugh: (but really i make more money on sat&sun with parties than i do all week)
