Nassau Coliseum stinks! there isn't even a walkway inside the seating area. if you enter the wrong section, or if you have friends sitting in a different section, you can't walk to a different section without leaving the seating area. you have to go back out to the concourse and walk around from there.

I went to Fenway as a kid and I thought that it was a terrible park to watch a game in. I like the idea of keeping and old park going but for gods sake that place needs to be updated.

It's a good place to watch, just the seats are kinda uncomfortable, but they've replaced a lot of them. Every year since like 2003 their has been big renovations during the offseason, The only thing I can't see being fixed are some of the poles that hold up the balcony.

Izod Center in NJ. The upper tiers are way too steep and the acoustics are terrible for concerts.

I remember having to look over my shoulder to see home plate.

Objectively. Well as objective as a Yankee fan can be Fenway is a dump. It has history and all but it is NOT a good park.Too small seats don't face the field. Obstructed views. Few bathrooms no parking and it only fits 37000 fans.
Wrigley same age better park exponentially
Again I admit Yankee bias but I have been to ~20 games at Fenway through and after college .

i hate all domed stadiums
I went to a game at the Metrodome in Minneapolis last week and had a great time. The dome makes the game feel like a much more intimate experience.

I won't say it's the worst, because it certainly isn't, but I hate Camden Yards for inspiring the new wave of HOK RETRO cookie cutter ballparks. EVERY ballpark has to have the green angled seats, and the elevated scoreboard wall. The worst current staium has to be Joe Robbie.

How about Citi field? The idea that they built a new stadium where many of the seats
have blocked views of the field, makes it deserving of being mentioned. At least at Nassau Coleseum, once your seated you can see the game.

Partially blocked views, or fully blocked?
Because most new stadiums have partially blocked views of the field now. Sitting on the left field porch at Yankee Stadium yesterday, you can't see anything from about 10 feet in front of the left field warning track, to the wall.
Citizens Bank has similar things...it's what you sacrifice for more intimate, closer seating.

Camden Yards may still be my favorite ballpark in baseball, despite being one of the older existing stadiums now.

Wrigley is Wrigley, but it's a fucking dump. Terrible food and beer, uncomfortable seats, too many obstructed view areas, not enough bathrooms. They really need to gut the grandstand and step it up ASAP.

I went to Fenway 10 years ago and thought the same thing. The concourse wasnt even cement...it was dirt floor. I couldnt believe it. 5 years ago I went back. It looks incredible now. Its one of my favorites now.
If Nassau is anything like the old Spectrum (which Im pretty sure it is) then that would get my vote. They are demoing the Spectrum this year and by the looks of it, probably 15 years later then they should have.
