I thought Macs don't get viruses. Am I missing something, or can we hope to never again see that smug old vs. new ad campaign with the two douches?

they don't get viruses because most virus scammers don't bother, they can get many more people by making one for PC since there are so many more PCs

Exactly. I've heard Mac Fanboys talk about their OS being more secure and stable blah blah blah. It's simply not true. Bottom line is Mac has such a small market share a lot of people don't attack them as much.

I'm waiting for someone to make an absolutely vicious virus/worm that destroys Macs and their operating systems.

On various security bulletins there is always something OSX listed such as an exploit, usually involving the various OSX compatible browsers.

No, it's not that simple, it also has a lot to do with explorer exchange being so easily scripted.
I removed that virus that poses as an antivirus program from a neighbors pc last month.. That was hillarious, they thought it was real

After reading the actual article I have no idea what the point of this post is.
This is a really old virus ploy that's finally made its way to the mac os

I've never heard any "Mac person" say that a Mac is absolutely invulnerable.
A Mac virus will happen someday. I'm just enjoying my Trojan-free day in the sun for now until I have to sigh and sadly install Avast or another program on my Mac too.

This, too. If you intentionally let a virus in, doesn't matter what OS you're using. You're fucked.
And to pretend that all PC users are some l33t h3x0rs as opposed to Mac users is ridiculous.
