My buddy ripped it for 360, looks fucking sick. At the point I saw the game he had lost a lot of his powers to some parasite but he was still able to travel around the city and do a few cool combat things.
The way you travel around the city is amazing blows away your Spidermans and other games of that sort. The way your body interacts with the world is amazing, you can run up walls, leap extremely high, glide for a very long time and scale whatever you want in seconds.
My initial impression of seeing it for like an hour was positive.

Hells ya! Its a super fun game. It is alot like the spiderman games, i think it was made by the same people. The story is real cool, and gets better with every play. The only thing I'm unhappy with, is that its kind of easy gameplay. You push two buttons to destroy shit, and basically just run up buildings and toss cars at people. If your into causing alot of destruction without really trying, its your game. But honestly, I would go for Red Faction over this if you've havent played that.

After seeing X-play give it a fairly positive review I picked it up today, Played about 40 minutes its pretty cool lots of button mashing but just sprinting and jumping thru NYC is fun

Playing seemed very familiar to me untill I remembered this game, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, lots of similarites with the game mechanics both made by the same company

I'm torn between which one to get. I'll probably end up playing both, at one point. But, should I rent, or should I buy? I know Infamous is out now, just recently released. So I think I'll start there.
Prototype seems to me like an unstoppable destructive shape shifting physical force.

Whereas...
Infamous seems to me like a destructive parkour power plant /w dark side Sith-like unstoppable force.
