This all started because someone on the show, I'll leave names out of it, always alludes to things, e.g. paltalk, sitdowns, HTG eating habits, we are left to speculate.
The speculation, as speculation always does, lost focus and turned into an attack on Fred, deserved or not.
I know R&F is an "inside" show, but the circle needs to be expanded beyond the show members and maybe four fans of the inner circle.
Simple- Mention a sitdown, explain who is involved and why. OR. Don't mention the sitdown.Otherwise we will speculate and insult.

If Fez thinks this is between Fred and Ron or another private party, than Fez should discuss with Ron whether he should bring it up on the show. Fez should not start a thread saying we shouldn't discuss a topic brought up on the show.

Or maybe people are concerned with what happens when a celebrity posts on a message board. Every board I've been on (202 related or not) does one of two things:

1) Changes the rules and kowtows to the celebrity until the board isn't any fun anymore.

2) Treats the celebrity like any other poster, which eventually causes that celebrity to melt down and yell about how they're never posting on this board again.

Neither outcome is good, and the original post of this thread read (at least to me) to chastise the posters here for having the nerve to talk about something that happened on the show. That seemed to push the closer to the ultimate decision on which path it would take.

That's why I said there was no reason to discuss it because it wasn't going to happen on the show. There was no censorship involved.

My point in starting the thread was basically to chill people out. It seemed like there was a panic going on that the Fred Sit Down was going to be on the show and 4 hours long. That's why I said there was no reason to discuss it because it wasn't going to happen on the show. There was no censorship involved.

Also, I'm a Fred fan, I like guy. I saw that he didn't start attacking until after there were negative things posted about him possibly appearing on the show. I just wanted to pull people back from arguing about something that wasn't going to happen.

However, it was also mentioned that this sit down would happen of air during the show. Correct me if I am wrong, please, but that is to the best of my recollection. The issue still finds itself in the fact that Fred and his issues have been brought up ad nauseam.

He has also posted some really rather negative things at times regarding other posters of this very board. So, I find it hard for many people to simply relax.

The reaction wasn't just to the idea that he may appear on the show, true or not, rather to the idea that his conflicts continually come up and he starts trouble.
