Not even sure if this is strictly Firefox.

This has been an annoyance since whenever and I never really gave it a thought to even ask.

Any message board I go to, if I click on a thread title it automatically just shoots down to the middle, or end of the thread. Like I just clicked on lleeders bloody poop thread which I've never read before, and once it loaded I was looking at the last post of the thread. I know Firefox will load the thread from the last page and post you viewed. I get that, but not on threads I've ever viewed before.

If there are images loading, it's even more annoying as I can hit HOME to go right to the top, but if an image loads, it'll just dart back down again to the middle or end of a thread and keep doing it until any images are done loading.

So, how the fuck do you stop this.

No, it's oldest, and if I switched it to newest that would just create the same sort of problem as I would have to scroll to the bottom of the page to follow a conversation.

If I click on a multi page thread I've NEVER read before, it should start me out on page 1, first post. Since you know, I've never read it before. Seemingly I end up on the last page, last post every time. So I then have to click page 1, which just goes and displays the last post of page 1, then page up to the first post to even see what the gist of the thread is about.
