I count on almost everything I hear on the air being a work in one way or another. I personally believe that Earl knew he was going to write a book and took time off from the show to do it. Sometimes I think that he's still in the booth running things. Dave is like Earl in a lot of ways...he couldn't be the fuckup that he comes off as and still have his job. Is Fez gay? Probably, but who the hell knows? What if Ron is gay and Fez is straight? What if it's ALL a work? After the Midnight Rider we were through the looking glass, man.

What if Fez is straight? His character could be like Dana Carvey's effeminate heterosexual and all of this could be a joke. Yes, he does show up at parties and is still in character but he spends a lot of time on his own. Maybe he is completely straight when he is away from the listeners.
