Can ya help a newbie here? Opening Song question.

I have searched Mooch's page and the Listening threads exhaustively, to no avail.

I am trying to ID an opening song within the past 2 months.
(it could have been a "best of" show, FYI)

anyway.... the drop is a guy and a girl in a hotel room, the manager comes to the door and tells them they need to check out.... the room has been reserved for a sheriff/or law enforcement convention??? (maybe this is from the show Entourage?) whatever....

then the opening song kicks in!.... (a buddy of mine THINKS it is Yo La Tengo)
but he is not certain.....

any help with Artist and Title would be appreciated!

It's certainly possible that someone will get the above references,
but just in case...do you remember anything else about the show that followed?
Guest? Ichiban? Anything discussed? That may help someone pinpoint the date.

thanks man, no, I don't have anymore info... I can't even remember lyrics to the song.... just that i liked it alot.

I had it recorded on my Pioneer XMP3 player, which is now TOAST.

It is fried....after 3 months. They SUCK... fyi.

I remember a thread not too long ago where someone had compiled a list of opening songs with the date of broadcast.

I am rotten with tag search's but maybe someone has a clue.
