When they start doing bits again, we probably will discuss them. Until then we're stuck discussing the myriad of "what would you do if..." scenarios they bring up or the personal lives of the hosts and staff which are discussed on a daily basis, ad nauseum.

Yeah, there have been aspects of the last couple of days that are really good. However that isn't going to change the tambour of the sight overnight. You are talking about months and months of the same rut and that isn't easy to get past.

The first thing this place needs is actually someone who gives two fucks to help Mikeyboy. I don't agree with all of MB's ideas, direction or moves, but he clearly gives a shit and is involved.

The powers that be here have made some fine selections over the years, and I won't even get into details. Bottom line is that it really isn't hard to get a good group together to discuss things and work things out. Our events only get interest from our powers that be if Ron and Fez go as well, which is sad. There are some really good people here too, and they HAVE to create plenty of ad revs for this site. How about you show some love to those people who keep you afloat while you twitter pics of your lunch versus buying millionaires presents (to get airtime), mods ipods and never giving a dime to people who do your work (eg. softball which cost justice ~$100 each year out of his own pocket).

I haven't read all of this thread, mainly just spoon and Pantera's love exchange so I apologize if this has been mentioned already:

Nothing wrong with change, especially on a message board. If things don't work out we can go back to the old way, much easier to do than in the real political/economic world.

Maybe we can vote on things.. like "Proposition #8" or something.

Personally, I see way to many Mods who shouldn't be mods and to many self-serving forums. It's never bothered me in the way it bugs spoon. I don't care for it, but I ignore it, maybe that makes me part of the "problem"? I dunno, I don't care.

I also think it would be nice to vote on mods. As far as term limits, a mod shouldn't necessarily be forced to step down after a set time period, but if the posters aren't happy with one of them, we should be able to vote on whether they should be "overthrown", "replaced" whatever! and who their replacement should be if said persons chooses to be a Mod.
