Nothing about it seems remotely realistic to me. Nothing. The simple fact that it's Eminem being involved in a seemingly gay, public, entertainment-related situation is/was the first tipoff. Then there's the little matter of Sascha Baron Cohen being involved. Then there's the fact that there were multiple cameras -perfectly in position- able to catch the "mishap" from every angle. Etc etc.

Well the only reason I think it would be remotely real is precisely bc sascha cohen is involved. I've been watching this nut job's career for like 10 years. I've seen him ask heads if state questions that are far more offensive than this eminem thing.... His whole thing is about sincere spontaneous reaction.

That being said eminem is such the favorite of MTV that I could see them wanting to keep him happy and therefor sought his permission in advance.
