I like eminem - I like the new cd...
But that was awesome!
Eminem did enough trashing of people over the years - its nice to see him get a little back.
Sasha Baren Cohen is officially fearless.

New CD is good. Very angry as expected. The only songs I don't like are the ones as Slim Shady (pop a bottle, we made you).
haha didnt eminmehnrohe once get angry at the triumph puppet also? he is a touchy boy.

That's the new thing with celebrities who appear humorless. Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, they do these things to make fun of themselves.
Eminem had to be a part of it.

None of his boys are throwing punches. They're all just kinda pushing him back and forth. I don't know for sure what Ron will have to say, but I'm pretty sure it will involve carnies and rubes.

I was gonna start a thread a few weeks ago to talk about Eminem's angryboy shtick (after his appearance on Kimmel).
That scowl of his is soooo over the top now, that he's officially a joke to me.
Remember when Howie Mandel was doing the crazy retarded shtick? Or when Bobcat was doing his kooky character?
Marshall Angryboy Mathers is attempting to do the same kinda "always in character" shtick.
Oh and by the way HE HATES FAGS! And talking dog-puppets!!

This is gonna sound snobby but, I really can't even grasp that there are people who think that shit like this is "real". It must be so easy to walk through life when you're so easily fooled.
Nothing about it seems remotely realistic to me. Nothing. The simple fact that it's Eminem being involved in a seemingly gay, public, entertainment-related situation is/was the first tipoff. Then there's the little matter of Sascha Baron Cohen being involved. Then there's the fact that there were multiple cameras -perfectly in position- able to catch the "mishap" from every angle. Etc etc.
I guess these are the same people who think The Bachlorettes really fall in love. And that Bret Michaels is really in it for the long-haul this time.

Well the only reason I think it would be remotely real is precisely bc sascha cohen is involved. I've been watching this nut job's career for like 10 years. I've seen him ask heads if state questions that are far more offensive than this eminem thing.... His whole thing is about sincere spontaneous reaction.
That being said eminem is such the favorite of MTV that I could see them wanting to keep him happy and therefor sought his permission in advance.
Either way it got a hell of a laugh from me

I don't understand why someone would think a homophobic reaction is funny.
I understand that it was balls in someone's face...i think anyone put into that scenario would be like "get him away from me!" but because it's Eminem, and everyone knows he's a huge homophobe..this makes it funny?
Either way it's funny because he has been gone for so long he has become irrelevant....just like MTV.

06-03-2009, 10:24 AM
so i guess according to franklyn the moby and triumph incidents were staged as well.
?
and from the article above
Still, Eminem did a great job of selling the stunt considering he "may not have been briefed on just how naked Baron Cohen's flying 'Bruno' would be when he agreed." What a pro.
i didn't realize his ass was out....and it seems eminem wasn't aware of that aspect of the stunt either.
so partially staged?
Dude!

He did just release a chart topping CD so I think he has returned from irrelevancy. If he didn't have a new CD on the shelves (and music videos on MTV), I bet they would have chosen a different angry celeb.

they said paris hilton was the first choice
and she does have a show out now too.
So basically it was a stunt to promote the bruno movie and someone else.
