It always comes down to tuna fish...whenever I can't decide what kind of sandwich I am in the mood for...tuna fish always comes to the rescue. I had 2 tuna fish sandwiches this week, and I enjoyed them immensely.

Now there are those that don't like tuna fish, which is understandable. I don't hold it against you.

But for all of us that love it, what are the best accessories to a tuna fish sandwich? Lettuce is a must for me, along with some chips on the side. Some actually like cheese on the sandwich too...but even for me, that's a little nutty.

Tuna fish fans, unite!

I like tuna wraps.

Usually wrapped in a skirt or some jeans.

It HAS to be toasted rye bread though. Tuna fish is my choice most of the time too. Lots of lettuce and tomato.

On my way to work most afternoons, I stop at the local deli for a Tuna on whole wheat with tomato. This deli puts bits of celery, which i like. At home I like to put bits of onion and celery.

I opened a can of tuna once and found an eyeball. No tuna for me.

I've read that, unless you're a seal, you shouldn't eat more than 2 or 3 tuna sandwiches a week. Pregnant women shouldn't eat tuna at all; it has really high levels of mercury. As far as poisons go, mercury is pretty cool, though. It's fun to play with, but touching it can make you crazy. That's where that term "Mad as a Hatter" comes from; hatmakers used to use mercury to soften the material. But now I'm babbling.

I'm not a big Tuna fan, it kinda reminds me of cat foot. (fancy feast in a glass)

And I don't like Bill Parcells all that much either.

Tuna salad on a hard roll with lettuce and tomato is my favorite lunch. The celery in the tuna just makes it great. I'm also a fan of chicken salad.
