Apparently 75% of the population of the state of New Jersey decided to take Friday off and make the upcoming 3-day Memorial Day weekend a 4 day weekend. I'm usually home from work by 4:30PM, but today I didn't get home until 6:45 because of absolutely crippling traffic on every single fucking roadway.
It's not a fucking law that you have to go down the shore every Memorial Day you cocksuckers.

i dont see eye to eye with you on this one buddy. the jersey shore and memorial day weekend is pretty much a birth right, and if not its at least a God given right. i live by the beach (in warm weather) year round and right now i can honestly say i wish i was down the shore in jersey drinking, partying and hanging out with friends from home.

normal people work till 5 drive home in close to no traffic and will go into work tomorrow not even worrying about any traffic at all.
The roads have gotten a lot lighter anyway with all these layoffs.

I'm "at the shore" cause I live here and I have no plans to go anywhere. Wish I did though cause this place blows Memorial Day weekend.
The government is giving early dismissal to alleviate some of that traffic on I-95.
I think that'll make a huge difference. You'll see!!

I was on the Garden State Parkway for 9 mins this morning and I noticed some heavy volume.
We're all gonna die.
I just gotta make it past exit 11 on the Turnpike tonight and I'm home free.
