i saw a movie based on a Bukowski novel called "Factotum"...i think its playing on the independent film channel

anyway, this movie was great. If you like movies about drug addicts (in this case alcohol) then its for you. Kinda a mix of fear&loathing and leaving las vegas (although ironically doesn't take place in vegas).

It starred Matt Dillion and hes so good in it. I'm surprised i never heard of this movie before

Hearing Pepper Hicks/ChrisTanley talk about how he and his chick are heading to the track this weekend to drink and bet on horses made me think how much like Bukowski he is.
