as discussed on the show, what footwear do you wear around he house when you get home from work?

People who walk around their homes with the same filthy footwear that has walked on disgusting city streets, sidewalks, and in dirt and grass repulse me.

They should just invite people to come in their house and spit on the floor and rub it into the carpet or flooring. They they can bring their dogs in and have them urinate all over the place too.

I voted sneakers before I read the question. Sorry. I take off whatever I was wearing on my feet when I get home. Never wear shoes in your home, savages! Inside the house I am either barefoot or socks or slippers if its cold. But the slippers are only indoor footwear.

It's a 50/50 thing. Half the time I'm barefoot (like now) and the other half I'm wearing my canvas slip-ons, usually when I'm anticipating doing some cleaning.

i couldn't imagine taking my shoes off at someone else's house unless they asked. doing so would actually seem a little rude to me.

it's just a matter of how you were raised. In Germany everybody does it and even has guest slippers available... I don't think anybody would think twice to not do it when in Japan...

I don't tell people to take it off unless their shoes are extremely messy. But even when my builder comes through to check on my settlement issues here he always takes them off or attempts to and I tell him he can just leave them on.

I like it when people take their shoes off at the door, but no one does. Therefore, I have my own steam cleaner and have to clean the carpets often.

I'm looking to get some of the Terra Plana mock-barefoot shoes. They're supposedly the best thing for your feet now.

As someone who hikes a lot, I can see getting some bad foot problems later in life.
