After watching TO's turn as a sportscaster and then Shaq's appearance this evening on SportsCenter, it got me thinking who has made me laugh more.
Who do you think is the most personable or funny athlete of your lifetime?
Peyton Manning was great as a host on SNL. Yogi Berra always said some great, dumb shit.
But I'm gonna go with Charles Barkley. His lack of an edit button on the things he says is hilarious. And his golf swing might be the funniest thing ever.

I'd have to go with George Foreman. He still loves being in front of the camera and has taken the fame he achieved from his sport (a sport that is much less popular) and created a whole empire out of that.

You know, before Jason Williams turned to the dark side, he was pretty damn funny.
Bob Uecker should be on this list somewhere.

I started to go with that but he really was more polarizing than personable

At the time I guess so, I was to young to get the polarizing part of it but I loved watching him. Go back and watch some of the stuff between Cosell and him now. classic stuff.

Yea, you're right. I watch Ali Rap from time to time and its just really funny. I don't think there are too many athletes that can make you laugh thru repeat viewings.

I'm gonna say Reggie Jackson. Always seemed like a funny guy. He was in Naked Gun and had a funny scene with Trey Parker in BASEketball.
Or O.J. He's a riot.
