Even though I know it kinda sucks, I still use Nero for just about everything with basic copies and data discs. I don't do anything "special" with DVDs though.

I have Nero 8 in here now and it's very bloated. Tons of shit I'll never use and I didn't like it trying to take over all media operations on my computer.

I would install Nero 6 but it doesn't work with Vista unfortunately.

Roxio 9 is mine as far as the tools available but the one included with Ubuntu (need to boot to it to remember the name) works damn good.

Now for burning DVDs for my "backup" collection I use CloneDVD2 and sometimes DVDXCopy Platinum.
