So I got a copy of it.

If you ignore the awful single "We Made You"

Best Eminem album ever. I'm not a huge rap guy, but.. This album is on point though. Original, great lyrics and story telling. Very deep for a rap album.

But it's not out until Tuesday.

His albums always seem to follow this formula. He releases a "pop" track as a single, and then the rest of the album is amazing.

Oh yeah.

um

A friend of a friend, whos uncle works for Sony and knows this guy who's friends with a guy who used to date a girl who knows a producer who is best friends with a guy who knows Eminem passed this along to me.

So, you see, totally legal.

I'm listening now, and think it's really good.

You think Dre's beats are starting to sound recycled, though? It may just be the style he has, but it all sounds so familiar.

It's really a great album. No real corny shit, great beats, and the story of his life he tells over the course of the album is really pretty blunt and honest (cause I can't see why anyone would want to admit the shit he admits on this just for record sales)

They had something of a release party on XM 66 tonight called the "Prelapse to Relapse". It may have been a repeat since the album did come out today. I'm not a huge rap fan either but it seems decent.

He said that his mom used to feed him Valium when he was little. He had no recollection of this, but when he took it as an adult, the addiction was instant and made him flashback to the feeling it gave from his childhood.

Apparently he is sober now.
