I recommend shredding that stuff instead. Lessens the risk of identity theft. (see above)

I cant bring myself to throw out the naked pics of the ex even though I havent looked at them in years. They sit in a box in the closet...taunting me. I did recently donate a shit-ton of old clothes that dont fit anymore. And it felt great.

I usually feel the same way after I purge. Then again, it is naturally easier to breathe without a cock in your mouth!

I really need to get rid of some stuff. I want to keep the last year's worth of financial records as some places require them.

My husband really wants me to do this. I'm not that bad but I feel like if I need something I haven't used in years but then suddenly need it once I was justified in having kept it. I don't know. I've been purging little by little but I need something major. The hardest thing for me to throw out is pictures. I'm in the process of placing them in albums but I want to put them all in instead of being selective.

Do you still have the negatives?

Get the negatives from your photos digitized, put onto a CD, label the CDs and store them in CD albums. The CD albums can then be packed in boxes or put on bookshelves.

If not, I don't know any service that takes the photos and makes them digital offhand, but check online. I am sure someone does it!

yea im feeling good man thanks for asking!

but now I have this bag full of paper that I feel like I need to shred now. I thought about it originally and shrugged it off, but now that I think it about it some stuff might have my SSN with my bank account #s.............

About a year ago tho, I made it a habit of only keeping really essential stuff (and im even throwing that stuff out). A lot of the stuff left is really old. New junk goes in the garbage immediately. The only way is to stop it before it starts

oh man i just cant stop throwing stuff out its such a good feeling

now i have a whole new set of love letters that needs to go to the landfill but i cant bring myself to do it. and that's about all of my paper possessions i have left aside from a few books.

it helps my work stopped giving out pay stubs for direct deposit and almost all my bills come to my email

I've got a cellar full of crap. 95% of which has never been touched since I moved it into this house when I moved in 15 years ago. I know it will feel sooooo good to get rid of most of it, but the problem is making the first move.

Someone motivate me please.

imagine the thought of going into your basement and there's nothing there. nothing to worry about, just open space and freedom......................
