Chuck's got a new book out... I think I might need the audiobook version of this one. The whole thing is written as if it's from the journal of a foreign exchange student, like in extremely broken English. Anyone else check this out yet?

No but I think I'll get the audiobook too, my brain can't deal with things like that in written form.

ive been too dissapointed with Palahniuk's books for years. It could be me, I could've just outgrown them but I had the power go out for a few days during Hurricane Ike and the only book in my place was "Snuff" and i refused to finish it, would rather just sit in darkness and stare. I ended up finding a walgreens with power and buying a "Rolling Stone" and a book of crossword puzzles

I loved it, but I definitely had a hard time getting through it the first time.

The last book I read of his was Choke. I liked it, though the ending kind of confused me.

I was at the book store and I was looking at it. It seemed interesting, but I don't know. You kind of know what you get with him.

So instead of buying it, I'm going to buy 'The Rape of Nanking'. Cause that's gotta be a pleasant read...

a clockwork orange - movie way better than the book

i know some people find it sacriledge, but it makes sense..whose known more of a master of their field, Stanley Kubrick with film or Anthony Burgess with literature.

I really believe that the novel would be in obscurity right now if it wasn't for the movie
