I'm trying to figure out which members here are savvy enough to run and maintain a web site similar to this one, with a message board, file library, chat room, etc.

Would you also have any idea of the costs involved? That is, purchasing the site name, and the fees associated with using a specific server, file hosting, etc.

Thanks.

Ha!

I've got no interest in that.

I just know a LOT of people who have come to me looking to get in on a joint venture.

I'll run yer messageboard for ya, but it's not gonna be easy. I'll set it up for ya fer 5. But I'll run it and Admin it fer 10.
I don't want no help, no mods. Too many wannabe's on this site.
10,000 bucks, Greg. Just me by myself. For that you get the board, the chat, the whole damn thing.

Hosting varies on what services you need and amount of traffic

All other costs vary based on services, but beyond the above, you have to ask specific questions.

It is simple, easy, and requires a little time each day. Let me know if I can help.
