The original "Vanishing Point" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067927/), dated but a gearhead would enjoy it.

I'm afraid of any thread where Smokey and the Bandit is considered the gold standard.

There has never been a finer movie made about transporting a large quantity of beer in a short period of time.

Perhaps dated, still fantastic.

Not the greatest, but still pretty good, Two Lane Blacktop starring James Taylor.

Hell Yea I forgot about that. Christine was good, they could have made more of those movies.

Thats not really a car movie.
As much as a car movie as Grant Torino was.
Its just a movie with a car in it.
Fast and Furious 1(the first) was the most car movie there has ever been.
Other than that there has never been a car movie besides maybe Gone in 60 seconds.
If you want car stuff search out episodes of TOP Gear.
But its seems like you just want to see fancy cars in movies.

Steven King / John Carpenter's "Christine" is my favorite car movie. The evil 1958 plymouth fury. Nice wheels, Arnie!

I'm sorry Fast and the Furious sucks the cheese in Fez's ass. I love Top Gear, we need a show like that here.:help:
