to see New Kids on the Block? Who are these crazy people???
There have been these people camping out for 6 days outside the NBC building to watch the NKOTB concert on the Today Show.
Is there any musician/celebrity you would wait/camp out for? For 6 Days???
I can't think of a one. Wait....I might wait in line to see Katja and Aggie in the shower together...are they considered celebrities?
(again, sorry if there has been a thread about this...)
I don't know, but I've been stuck i my apartment for only two days and it is driving me nutty.
I couldn't wait in line for more than 90 minutes for my favorite musician's concert tickets.

Back in the day I stayed in line over night to see the Grateful Dead Englishtown 79 comes to mind and also did a few 3 day runs with them.
My bumper sticker read:
Who are the Grateful Dead and why do they keep following me?
I can say being "on the bus" are among my fondest memories (those I can remember)

Its hard to say. If you knew how great bands were at the time, I guess I would. For example, when the Rolling Stones, Beatles, The Band, Led Zeppelin, Grateful Dead (to name a few) were in their prime did anybody really know how truly great they were?
They had to stand the test of time to prove their greatness. So I would stand in line for 6 days to see any one of those bands when in their prime knowing what I know now.
I wouldn't do it today. I don't know if I would've done it back then because I would have not known how great they were.

Dead heads usually end up being Anesthesiologists, Orthodontists, and Dentists.
Why? I don't know.

My dad was a dead head too, but not the stereotypical one. He just looked like any other dude in the 70's.
He gifted me a couple of concert T-shirts from 82 that are pretty sweet. I will model them and post them some time.
