They showed him passing the ball, the defender was still a step and half at least away and then they showed Rodgers getting up.
No roughing call there but they let Brady call his own penalties yesterday ?

The Wahington Redskins have hired Sherm Lewis, former offensive coordinator for the Packers, Vikings, and Lions, as an offensive consultant.
This obviously sets up Mike Hologram or Mike Shanahan for the head coaching position next year or perhaps even this year. Either way, someone named MIKE will be coaching the skins very soon.

Lebron's #1 enemy traded to the Jets (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4538498)
So Washington gets a drunk? Sherm always liked the sauce...

Nothing says "Your ass is fired" quite like having an assistant forced on you.
If I'm remembering correctly, the Redskins bye week is week 8, so I wouldn't put it past Lil' Danny to fire Zorn at that point and let Lewis be the interim the rest of the year. There's certainly precedent.

Gotta love this from The Onion:
BRISTOL, CT—In what is being called the biggest gaffe in the sports network's 30-year history, ESPN totally forgot to cover last week's Brett Favre vs. Green Bay Packers storyline.
Favre's legendary career with the Packers, which spanned 16 seasons, three MVP awards, and one Super Bowl title, was not mentioned even once during pregame coverage of the Monday night Packers-Vikings matchup or during the game itself. Records indicated that it wasn't until Wednesday—more than 48 hours after Favre led Minnesota to a dramatic 30-23 victory—that producers began to feel that they may have overlooked one of sports' most obvious storylines.
"I was looking at a newspaper, and it said, 'Favre Sacks Former Team,' and at that point I realized we really missed one," ESPN president George Bodenheimer told reporters. "I just want to apologize to our viewers. Had the Favre-Packers connection dawned on us sooner, fans could have enjoyed the same quality sports journalism they have come to expect from ESPN: driving storylines into the ground and exploiting every one of their subplots to the point of nausea."
ESPN news director Vince Doria said that if he or any of his colleagues had realized Favre would be playing against his former team, the network would have begun overhyping the week-four matchup the moment the quarterback signed with the Vikings. Instead, ESPN attempted to generate interest in the game by doing an extensive two-week profile on Vikings backup tight end Jim Kleinsasser.
"We kind of blew a golden opportunity," Doria said. "Endless explanations as to what Brett Favre meant to the city of Green Bay, restating over and over how he left the Packers on poor terms, and airing at least 50 segments featuring wild and irresponsible speculation about his motives for returning to the NFL. It would have been perfect."

Former Raiders assistant Randy Hanson has given his version of what happened at a team meeting with head coach Tom Cable:
“From my blindside, Tom Cable threw me from my chair and into a piece of furniture that a lamp sat upon,” Hanson told Yahoo! Sports Friday during an extensive interview at a Bay Area restaurant. “He was screaming, ‘I’ll fucking kill you! I’ll fucking kill you!’ And I have no reason to believe he wouldn’t have killed me if they hadn’t pulled him away.
“If my head would’ve hit a different way, I might be dead right now.”
According to other sources, other coaches at the same meeting have corroborated Hanson's version of events, and an investigation that might lead to Cable's arrest continues.

The article is about a game by Sexy Rexy Grossman, which the Bears won even though he went 6-for-19 with 3 INT's, for a rating of 1.3.
But here's the king of shitty winning performances:
On Nov. 14, 1976, Norm Snead of the New York Giants posted a 0.0 passer rating by going 3-for-14 for 26 yards with two picks in a 12-9 victory over Washington.
