It's not impossible to think they'd rest all of their starters after a quarter or two, so the Jets upsetting them would not be a complete shock.

Actually not. Raji has really come on the past few weeks since his ankle got healthy and he looks like he's going to be a special player. Plus those DL in the 3-4 need to be able to occupy multiple blockers to make the defense work and Raji does that.
So Orakpo would've been a OLB in Green Bay and not a hybrid in the 3-4. What makes it easier to say that it was the right move, is the getting Matthews and how quickly he took that OLB spot by storm.

Earlier in the show here on ESPN First Take Skip Bayless said that the Chargers were the best team in the NFL and that Peyton Manning was only slightly better than Phillip Rivers.
Now, 20 minutes later, he's saying that nobody can beat Tennessee at home and that the Chargers have no shot at winning the game Friday night.
So the other guy, who I did not know, asks him " How can the Chargers be the best team but they can't beat a team that's 7-7 ? "
Of course he had no real answer because he just likes to say ridiculous things and hope they come true.

So I'm at the game with my brother and my 8 year old nephew. 5 Giants fans come up two rows behind us. Their first words out of their mouth:
Fuck the Redskins, Fuck the Redskins Fans, and pointing to some woman - Fuck you bitch, and they are screaming this. So i turn around and just ask them to give it a rest with my nephew there.
about 10 minutes into the first quarter a guy wearing a Sean Taylor jersey goes and sits down about two rows in front of us, at which point the 5 giants fans say:
Hey, Sean Taylor isnt that the dead nigger who played for the Redskins, what a stupid nigger to get killed.
So during this time there were people throwing snowballs which to me is just garbage because someone could get hurt. And i even turned in two redskins fans who i saw doing it. About 7 minutes to go in the first half i get hit by two snowballs and one hits my nephew, so now I am furious. Another snowball gets thrown in front of us, security catches them and lo and behold its the 5 Giants fans doing it.
So i turn around now knowing its these 5 who threw them at me and hit me and my nephew. As security comes up with one of Plead Guilty (PG County for those who dont know) counties finest officers. So i turn around and start waving bye to the giants fans as they are about to get escorted out. When one of the Giants fans tries to spit on me, so i hit a Keanu Reeves matrix move and dodge the spit, then take my cup of coffee about 1/3 full and cold by that point, and just douse the guy and his authentic $325 Eli Manning jersey with the coffee effectively ruining it. SO the guy goes balistic and he is some little fuck and his friends are holding him back as I am ready to whip his ass. Knowing by throwing my drink I am going to be kicked out. So by this time there are about 5 PG county cops, and these donkey Giant fans swung and hit the PG county cops.
The PG county cops have none of it, and are dragging these guys down the stairs getting beaten, having their heads slammed on the metal railings. I of course know how PG county cops are jsut step back dont argue when they are throwing me out. Meanwhile as im walking down Skins fans are just telling the cops i got hit with snowballs and such and was jusified and they are giving me high fives and fist bumps.
So I ask one of the security guys to put himself in my shoes if his 8 year old nephew got hit with a snowball and hes like I agree, and I told him it was worth it getting thrown out to see those Giants fans get their ass kicked by the cops. We get to the ramp and the guy says go find new seats just not in our section, and says hes a skins fan and couldnt say what we did was right in front of everyone, and said how much he hates giants fans so we got to stay. Those 5 guys are either in PG county hospital after a beat down by cops or in a PG county holding cell getting a whipping there. And those in MD know how PG county is
Moral of the story: Dont go to opposing teams stadiums and act like assholes or the cops may give you the beat down.

Funny, bc I played the role of laid back away fan tailgating and at the game at Giant's Stadium when the Chargers were in town. I only had ONE asshole come up to me and literally say fuck me and the Chargers like a drunk fool after the game, and I simply grabbed him by the throat and literally through him into a car. He wanted nothing to do with me after that, and his friend just laughed at him. Outside of that, nothing. In fact, most were pretty cool with some good natured ribbing which I surely expected. The only issue came from some drunk asshole pissed they lost and got a little too close for my comfort.
Bottom line, every team has asshole fans, just places like Philly and Oakland seem to have little else. I don't blame you at all, bc I had a similar event with my girl's nephews at a Phillies/Blue Jays game this year. I was for the Jays, the kids like the Phils so we took them to a game and had a blast (their first ever). Only problem was some asshole didn't except that I liked the Jays and threw shit at us from behind like a tough guy. I didn't get to this guy, but some other good fans got the two asshole SLOBS kicked out for us. It happens, at pretty much any stadium, and it's sad.

A higher than normal number of Skins fans couldn't attend the game, because of the horrible snow removal efforts in so many neighborhoods. Add to that, many of those who could get out, were catching up on shopping instead. They actually had HUGE gridlock problems around the major malls today, because people missed out on their weekend Christmas shopping.

The thing is we moved down to the lower level and sat behind some Giants fans that were cool and we were joking around with them that the Giants and Brandon Jacobs probably wish they could play the skins every week and they said the eagles wish they could play the giants every week.

But my god 5 white kids swinging at black PG county cops, how could they not know that would turn out bad.

If they tried this in NY, they wouldn't be talking to these guys. I saw some HUGE asshole Giant fan not willing to give up a seat (not his/no ticket) at his home stadium and as soon as he even gestured that he was going to get physical, they laid the guy out and had him cuffed. He was tackled by like 15 guys in seconds. So suck that PG county cops. Just imagine if he tried that "white kid" bullshit and was rooting for the other team.

Actually not. Raji has really come on the past few weeks since his ankle got healthy and he looks like he's going to be a special player. Plus those DL in the 3-4 need to be able to occupy multiple blockers to make the defense work and Raji does that.
So Orakpo would've been a OLB in Green Bay and not a hybrid in the 3-4. What makes it easier to say that it was the right move, is the getting Matthews and how quickly he took that OLB spot by storm.
I wish the Chargers found a way to get Raji to fill the HUGE Jamal Williams shoes. He's old and oft injured of late, yet they found nobody at any level of the draft or in free agency. I guess they made a move to fill it with the Texans former first, but eh. This year the need is GLARING.

Also funny just to see how bad the Redskins are run STILL under Snyder. They dropped a kicker who actually only missed 3 (albeit big ones) FGs all year in a very bad kicking year with no backup plan. It's a joke that the Cowboys dropped a guy connecting on 64% of his kicks for another who is hitting at a 86% rate. Another nice move by Washington.

I have suffered a terrible season...No problem been there many times..I can say with all my heart I think this one is the worst seasons because of the expectations.....This is the worst Bear team( TEAM) in 10 years..no I did not look back at stats and shit..I just hurt bad that is my gauge!! Although I would have liked to see the colts win this one the rested the starters before I could even see them (I was on the road) I cant wait for next weeks scrimmage though 15-1 aint bad.
These refs today make the Yankees/Twins umpires look all-world....not that it's making a huge difference in terms of the score, but this game has been run about as awful as possible.
They're lucky the snow didn't last until today....they're would be another barrage of firing from the stands.
