DON'T RUIN THIS FOR ME, YOU BASTARD. You have your good, young team that knows how to manage a passing game. I have nothing...NOTHING!!!
So far the Packers look kinda lethargic. They'll probably win...but if they keep playing like this...it won't be the kind of loss you need to kill Lovie.

The Vikings get another 3 points!!!

So you are a Lions fan cheering for the Minnesota Vikings?
You might be the worst male football fan on the planet. That is, if you really are a man.
There's only one game that matters this week and it's tonight, when once again, the Eagles remind the Giants why their team became a non-issue as soon as Plaxico fired a bullet into his leg through his sweatpants.

Well, it's hard when the only other clips are a decade of NFC Championship losses. Here's shooting for....#6 is it?....in 2009!
I mean, I guess I could find some old Dave Brown Giants clips, but I'm pretty sure all the original footage of those years have been destroyed.

Yeah, they're definitely beatable. Vikings, Eagles, and Colts could all give them a game during the postseason.
I'd love to see another Eagles/Saints matchup, with McNabb instead of Kolb, and a semi-competent MLB in Witherspoon, to take on the TE/RB release routes (Eagles got carved up by that earlier this season) when they had no MLB.

This is what I was afraid of with the Bengals: they've played down to their competition, and I had a feeling they'd struggle against a really good team.
Still, though, we'll see if they can turn it around for the San Diego game next week. I think this team might be a year away from being a real contender, though.

Why? Since when do the Bears know how to draft anyone before the 3rd round? In what universe do they magically know how to draft a QB? What good would that pick have done them? Their first round picks have all sucked.

I often check out Philly radio stations after one or the other of the teams there fucks up. It's comedy gold.
The Philly radio stations are pretty good for a classic Eagles loss, when they burn all three time outs in the first five minutes of a half, Donovan is trying to lead a two minute drill drive in the 4th, and they just do a horrendous job of play calling....you get a lot of goodness out of that scenario. Or when they pass 60 times in a game.
There's also some good veiled racism mixed in from some of your callers.
It's unlistenable when it comes to baseball...they're just idiots, and not in a good way.

The only way the Giants are going to win is if the wind is just horrendous making it impossible to throw the ball tonight (which isn't out of the question with the Meadowlands, especially with the weather lately).

Im not a fan of most of the guys on WIP. The whole morning crew is annoying but Keith Jones and Al Morganti are genuinely funny.
Anthony Gargano is the best thing they have on the station. Hes knows his shit and is great at fucking with the New Yorkers and breaking balls. Macnow is ok. Eskin is just an egotistical jerkoff. But I like Ike Reese as he starts his radio career.
Then youve got guys like Startari, Jolovitz, and Rob Cherry...who are just boring. Big Daddy Graham is pretty good but he usually just does late nights.

Jody Mac is way smarter than Beningo in terms of actually knowing stuff, but I think he's off in Philly for good now, and works for XM MLB Home Plate exclusively now.
Howard Eskin kind of does a Francesa thing.
Mike Missanelli on the Philly ESPN Radio station kind of does the Carton thing.
Other than that, there's no real parallels. WIP is pretty bad. The morning show is so hacky, the midday show does way too much of a hacky "sports guys" type of bit mixed with the a lot of South Philly Italian BS.
When Rob Ellis is on at night, he's kind of like an Evan Roberts type, I guess.

I think the two weak spots on the WFAN lineup is Francesa and Tony Paige. (well, and Lori Rubinson. I'm still wondering why they have such a weak personality on Sunday nights when people want to talk about football)
Still better than Ann Liguori, who did - I swear to god - a 30 minute break on the WNBA All-Star Game.

Oh, I'm not just talking radio. I'm including local print and TV, too.
I think I've heard everyone on there at this point. You HAVE to have a show like Francessa's, because he's the only one who ever gets any interviews. It gives them a little bit of legitimacy.
Tony Paige is awful and so are the weekend people.
But they have it pretty well filled out, for what their audience is right now.

At this point, I think Esiason is more legitimate than Francesa. He's well spoken, and he's actually played the game.
Francesa is just tons and tons of hot air. Russo took the entertainment value out of that show when he left.
