This stinks. I wanted to go see him after I missed S&F.

The poor man's.... everybody.
I never saw, nor wanted to see, him perform, but his face was everywhere in Vegas.
Talk about a strictly local celebrity.
R.I.P.

With him and S&F gone, the only one left that really feels like "Vegas" is Wayne.

No, but speaking of which, I was in Subway the other day and in walks a bunch of college-age Softball players from Australia.
Out-STANDING.

Do they have to throw the ball down, so it falls up toward the plate?
Or do they just play with boomerangs, eliminating the need for a catcher?
Oy. Throw another shrimp on the third rail.

Instead of a "can of corn", an easy pop up is a "vegemite sandwich".
They also run from 3rd to 2nd to 1st.

I never saw the attraction of this guy. I never saw this guy, but I saw his highlight video and it was not appealing in the least. He did really good impressions of people and characters, but he wasnt' doing anything original with them. He just repeated lines/quotes the actual character/person said.
For instance, for his Forrest Gump character, he just did lines from the movie. But if I wanted to see that, I'd see the movie. Improvise and do something good with the character.

Now here's an imitation:

That Don Rickles doc that aired on HBO got into that quite a bit, the way that Vegas institutions like Rickles are being pushed out for either people who got famous elsewhere, like Celine Dion or Prince, or acts coming in from outside like Blue Man Group or Cirque du Soleil. Kind of sad, really. I don't want Vegas to stop being sleazy. I want to play blackjack at a place where I can be hit with a cattle prod and dragged into the back and have my hand smashed with a hammer if I win too much.

I never would have heard of him if it weren't for Penn Jillette on his old FreeFM show talking about how he kind of sucked.

Once for a trade show. It was fairly boring. Gambling is retarded so it held no appeal for him.
