I remember as a kid, a poor ass one at that, We used to take the used flavor ice plastics and race them down in the street gutters when it rained. Man we would chase those things to the end of the block. But you had to be quick or you could lose them to the gratings. We would be out all day long in the rain chasing those flavor ice plastics.
Ps It wont work if cut both sides, but who would do that to a flavor ice.

We did it with chestnuts, and we use to fight these kids that lived a block away. Since all of is were two young to cross the street, we would ataand at the corner just throw them across the street. It was the most pointless battle ever. A 7 year throwing a chessnut with ZERO accuracy about 35 ft at a dangerous 5 mph!

We played war sometimes with rocks, til somebody took one on the noggen...
We used to play "Hot Beans And Butter" One person would go around the corner and hide his belt, then yell "Hot Beans And Butter" Everyone would run around to find the belt. When somebody found it he could whip your ass til you made it to home base. Needless to say. some nights we were out real late!
