I've been listening to Eddie for years...since he had a show on WDHA in NJ, which was a long time ago... Eddie definately plays the best mix of stuff on commercial radio... I don't particularly care for everything he plays, but it's nice that he has the "OK" from WNEW to play his own set list... he's not stuck into the "pre-programmed" music that all of the other stations have to adhere to.

I try so hard to supprot his show but I hate that music. It personally hurts to listen. But in the everlasting persuit to broaden my interests I give him a chance every once in a while. I just get mad that he cuts off the last hour of my Ron and Fez "Best of" for Staurdays. And he took the whole slot on New Years Eve. I want my Ron and Fez. But he does seem to be a nice guy.

I don't ever listen to Eddie Trunk...I don't like the heavy metal stuff he plays one bit, never did...But he used to (he may still, I'm not sure) DJ on Friday nights at a bar called Fatso Fogerty's in Lyndurst, NJ (right next door to me) and a friend took me down there one night on the way home from a Yankee game. My friend made me go up to the booth and request some god awful song I can't even remember by Faster Pussycat or some shit like that and I ended up sitting in there with him chatting. He's an awesome guy and really cool to talk to but I still won't listen to his shows...sorry Eddie http://www.plauder-smilies.de/tongue3.gif
