Last week my Dell Optiplex died, and my new PC is running Vista. Now when using Audible, all my downloaded shows are named differently, and they show up as a blank space on my inno. The show still plays, but there is just no info. Also I can't use the Audible manager to put the shows on my inno because if you're trying to load 3 shows like I was, it will only put on show on. Kind of like it thinks that they are named the same. I have to go through my downloads folder and manually put them on my inno with windows to get all 3 blank labeled shows.
Anyone have any ideas? I tried to rename them in the downloads folder and nothing seems to work.
Now when using Audible, all my downloaded shows are named differently, and they show up as a blank space on my inno. The show still plays, but there is just no info.
I've been having similar problems. The files are named differently and not all the info is showing up. And I haven't had any problems with my computer whatsoever. The files show up like "RT_RFEZ_090424_mp332" and the "author" field is blank where it's usually "Ron & Fez." The timer at the top doesn't work either.
I tried removing Audible manager and reinstalling it to no avail. I tried downloading older shows again and got the same problem that I have with the last few shows. I was going to call Audible support but didn't get around to it.
Found this:
Due to an update to all of Audible’s download servers, there is a bug with downloads for all titles that contain the ampersand sign (&). An example of a popular title that will be effected by this bug is any Opie & Anthony and Ron and Fez program downloaded from our website.
We are currently working on resolving this issue. It will be fixed shortly and once it is resolved you will be able to go ahead and re-download the file so that is shows you the correct name....
In the meantime, the files don't register on my MP3 Player, at all

Hey look at that, same thing is happening to me, I thought it was just an issue with my Audible account.
My workaround for now is to re-tag them once I get them onto my MP3 player using MediaMonkey.

Thanks for the info guys. My PC died last week, purchased a new one with Vista so I figured that had to be it. On top of things, we were moving all week so a quick google search was all I did to try to get to the bottom things. Thanks .netters!

Crap, now yesterday's show wasn't uploaded at all. I was at least able to get them on my inno one at a time.
This is the second response I got from Audible last Friday:

Dear Ozzie,
Thank you for contacting Audible. I am so sorry to hear you are still having trouble. It has just been discovered there is something a mith with the server and shows that have special characters in the title, such as Ron & Fez.
There are three different issues some customer will see depending on whether you have a Mac or a PC, or if you are using iTunes or Audible Manager.
1) For customers using a Mac, when they download a title with a & in the title, they will only see an underscore followed by a their audible username.
Example: _fworth.aa
2) For customers using Audible Manager, they will see only the product code under the title area of in Audible Manager.
Example: BK_RAND_001819&BV
3) For customers using a PC and iTunes, they will see the full file name of the audio book where the title should be listed.
Example: Opie&Anthony42209_aclp3_fworth.aa
Please know that we are aware of the issue, and are working as quickly as possible to fix it. Also, please know that when the issue is fixed, you can go back to re-download the title. I have provide the link to FAQ 3170 “How to re-download a title.”
Thank you so much for taking the time and allowing me the opportunity to better assist in this rather unusual issue today.
Here at Audible, we truly value and appreciate your business; if you need further assistance, please respond to this email or if you wish, please provide me with a contact number and the best available time to reach you.
