What number should I get on my Kenny Powers Mets Jersey?

My wife is going to get me a Mets Jersey for our Anniversary and I've asked her to get me one with the last name "POWERS" on it. The question is, which number should I put on it? The 55 that was his number we he rocketed to super stardom? The 00 that was his number when he flamed out? I think in the spirit of the Mets and our miserable history I should go with 00.
