its April 20th, and for the first time, "Schindler's List", is listed "on demand"

i think its pretty logical to want to show a holocaust movie on hitlers birthday. Its not like "Schindlers List" is a zany comedy, it appropriately shows what was the effect of the man's life. I don't see the "sick twist" in this one

well, isn't 4/20 all about getting "baked"?

Actually they switched their OnDemand programming this past week. Ain't it a bitch when the truth runs contrary to your "funny joke"?

You are wrong my friend. HBO added Schindler's List TODAY!!! Don't worry I did my homework before posting this. I checked onDemand yesterday to see a movie, it was not there, so today when checking it was there. Started today. Why must you always try to prove me wrong, EPO??

Well...maybe your cable provider is on a different schedule than mine. That being the case, I apologize for assuming that we are all on the same speed.

idk, was not a schedule from my cable provider, it was from HBO.

anyway, watched the movie again, it is a true classic. Just thought the start date was suspect.

i dont understand what you find "suspect" though. Like, if they showed "Gettysburg" on the anniversary of "the Gettysburg address" or Lincolns birthday it would make sense...why not show a holocaust movie on hitler's birthday..it makes sense

one flaw i have with Schindler's List (besides the worthless Spielberg warmovie bookends) is that Ralph Fiennes character was so much more interesting than Schindler. I wanted to watch the Nazi cuz he was so badass...i shouldnt be feeling that way! Still, its a very very good movie

You suppose it might have something to do with tomorrow being Holocaust Remembrance Day?
