Anyone else watch every movie with the subtitles on?

I started off only turning them on for British actors but since that worked so well I just turn them on for every movie now. I feel that it adds a lot to the experience because it is impossible to misinterpret what someone says or miss a crucial line.

Imagine watching Trainspotting with the subtitles on. It becomes a whole new movie.

Only problem is that sometimes I get absorbed in reading the dialogue and miss something in the action, like an eye wink or dirty look.

I watch DVDs with subtitles after I watch a movie or t.v. show the first time without the subtitles on. On the second time around with the subtitles sometimes I'll say to myself, "So that's what they said".

Only time that's forgivable is if you watch Das Boot dubbed. All the German actors speak English as well and dub their own voices.

I do on occasion. I would rather watch passively but if I have a hard time understanding an actor I will turn them on.

If I recall correctly, there was so much noise in/on the submarine set during shooting, that they had to dub the whole movie in English and German.
