It's on TCM right now and its one of the strangest things I've ever seen. I wasn't aware that they adapted Dr. Seuss movies in the 1950's.

I saw this movie about a year ago when it played on TCM. Yes it was fairly trippy for a 50's movie.

I recorded this movie the other day cause I thought the description sounded interesting.

Yesterday I go to watch it and a disclaimer pops up that says "the following program has been formatted to fit your TV." Seconds later the title card comes up and the movie is indeed full screen. I hit stop immediately and deleted it.

I really wanted to see it, but refuse to ever watch a full screen version.
