I always liked those Howard Johnson Corn Toasties thing when I was a kid, but I'll probably go with a nice fresh everything bagel.

I went with english muffins, love them toasted. I never toast bagels, am I missing something?
they are great lightly toasted with light butter or margarine... so it melts on it... still crispy yet not dry... poppy seed is my fave

toasted bagels are good, but nothing beats a freshly made bagel straight from the oven

My Grandma used to make it for me all the time, along with some kind of
PUMPERNICKEL raisin bread that was also super delicious that I have never been able to find again. I think they might have made it at the caterer she worked for.

Ohhhh.....you just reminded me of something Missy! While I hadn't heard of Pumpernickel raisin bread before, I remember when I was a kid, the J.J. Nissen bakery in our town made raisin English muffins. They might have been better than the toast.

You guys ever try these? Thomas' made them. They are round like pancakes but cornbread. I used to love these.
