MLB All Star Game Question

I know there are a lot of east coasters on here so I have a questions about MLB All-Star Game tickets. I live in St. Louis (home of the 2009 ASG) but cannot find any details anywhere about buying tickets to the game. They are being very tight lipped about how the tickets will be sold.

My question is for anyone who bought tickets to last year's ASG in NYC. How were the tickets distributed and do I have any chance whatsoever to get them from the box office or will I get stuck shelling out $1000 for crappy tickets from ebay?

there were tix available for the yank's all star game around $100 ... there'll always be someone on craigslist looking to unload some extra tickets cheaply
