The WWF is going to give me an aneurysm.

Returning to the WWF at the Rumble are the following wrestling personalities:

Val Venis....

Godfather....

Curt Henning (YES!)...

And...no shit....Goldust.

Goldust, people. The only one of those names that excites me is Henning, but I'm a Perfect mark from way back. I hate to keep bitching, but again, I can't believe that the WWF canned several good WCW wrestlers in their farm leagues, and are now bringing back guys like Bossman and Goldust to TV. I mean, hell, if you want an ex-WCW guy, did you have to pick Dustin? Why not Jarrett? He's only about a 1,000 times better.

And if *that* wasn't enough, on the Heat tapings, the Dudleys had a match against Tazz and his partner....Sgt. Slaughter! I'm not shitting you. Sgt. f'ing Slaughter returns to the ring.

I'm going crazy here. I may have to crawl into a cave and not watch any WWF programming until Benoit returns.

Who was the jag-off who called into the show and said that Nash returned on Smackdown! and was helping HHH beat up on Kurt Angel?

As far back as I can remember...I've always wanted to be a gangster.

Yeah, I heard about this.

Hopefully, they will get better gimmicks.

My opinion is that these guys are going to form a faction and start up a new story line.

They could b the new job squad. Who knows...

Will Goldust be Dustin Rhodes, or just the gimic with someone else playing the part? Not that I care either way. I just hope that Curt Hennig is back full time. He is my favorite of all time.

Personally..

I am a big Mr. Perfect Curt Henning mark... I hope he sticks around and is given a push to fued with some of the top guys... I think him and Angle could have a very cocky humorous fued.

Just some tool. That kind of annoyed me, as he probably got a lot of people's hopes up about Smackdown tomorrow.

My money is on Nash showing up in the Rumble itself. Now I DON'T want the Cliq / NWO to reform, at least not with HHH. I'd love to see Nash be the 30th man in the Rumble, and immediately attack HHH, causing him to be eliminated. Then you'd have a superface HHH take on the heel Cliq / NWO.

I loved the Bret Hart/Mr. Perfect feud. I can vididly remember Kurt piting out a piece of gum and batting it away with his hand at the right moment- perfectly!

It looks like this is a one shot deal with Henning and Goldust. Similar to Honky Tonk Man at last years Rumble.

Val has ben wrestling Edge at recent house shows and I have no idea why they are bringing Godfather up, hopefully it's a one shot deal for him too.

Golddust may be hanging around. I read in several places that Terri has been campaigning to bring him back.

As for Henning...Goddamn! What a home run! I remember his feud with Bret, especially the match at SummerSlam 1991. It was the match of the year I believe. The best part was that Henning was mangled. His back was pretty F'D up at that point. I seem to remember him being off TV for awhile after that.

Sgt. Slaughter? Bring back "Dirty" Dutch Mantel whydoncha'?

As far back as I can remember...I've always wanted to be a gangster.

Goldust returning is mighty interesting, since Terri made a Goldust joke on Excess a couple weeks ago.

Big Show was on, and they were asking him to do impressions, and Terri goes:

"Do you do Goldust?"
"Uh, no."
"Neither do I anymore."

This year's rumble is going to be off the charts. It's not like most rumble's where the winner is kind of predictable but this year it's all up in the air.

I've got a feeling that they'll book HHH to win. They seem to want to give him a big face push.

Which sounds good to me. I'd love to see a face HHH go into Wrestlemania to win the gold, but I don't know. If they keep Trips as a mega face, then they've got sort of an overabundance of them, with Rock, Austin, and RVD, so they may turn one of them shortly (I'm hoping for the Rock). But I'm hoping that they keep him face till at least WM X8.

Bring Back Bruiser Brodie!!!! (Yes, I know, it was a joke)

I'm Sure Val and The Godfather were never gone. They were just waiting for the right time to bring them back after the RTC.

Dustin, fah!!

Last I heard from Curt he was wrestling Dennis Rodman in Austrailia.

And Jarrett will never come back because of the $250,000 Good Housekeeping match incedent.

The latest word out now is that the WWF is, in their TV Guide previews (for the Rumble), promising many more "shocking" returns! You gotta feelt hat one of them will be Nash.

As for Jarrett, I've heard he sort of got a bum rap about that Housekeeping match. His contract ran out (thanks to Jim Ross' idiocy...you don't let the contract of one of your champs run out while he still has the belt), and he agreed to do the match, BUT he wanted the money for the gig, along with some PPV money that the WWF owed him, up front (the 250k). Since Vince has a bug up his ass about talent asking him for money (see Laurer, Joanie), Jarrett's been blackballed. Which is sad, since I'd rate him better than at least half the WWF roster.

But Jarrett is the WWA Heavyweight Champ. He's doing just fine.

And so is the Road Dogg for that matter. When was the last time he had a Championship match?
