View Full Version : Best Era for Titty Films?

"Ski School" is currently on cinemax and i think, movies trying to pass themselves off as mainstream films but were really excuse to see Titties...nothing beats the 80s. What do you think?
now this is not a conversation about what decade was the best for hardcore porn..just films that really seemed revolved around a girl showing her titties. Here is how i see the breakdown
60s - Russ Meyers and those weirdo nudist films.
70s - Titties are mainstream, and almost every film has titties
80s - fun loving "lets show some tits" films..."Ski School" "stewardess school" probably a couple of other "schools" (unfortunately "Summer School had no titties!)
90s - skinemax
00s - skinemax made boringer
Whats your opnions?

an update
upon reflection i realized that the 70s had all those wonderful explotation films. the grindhouse stuff as well. Those were pretty good
BUT i still say 80s because the 80s has TROMA! Troma is still around today, but the only time they were even close to being mainstream is the 80s with "Toxic Avenger" and "Class of Nuke 'em High" and those are classics

Funny story (kind of):
I remember a teen boobs flick called "Hot Moves" and also a movie in the similar vein called "Private School". Both of these movies had a Stiffler like "clown" character who kind of looked like Epstein from "Welcome Back Kotter".
Fast forward to 1999. I'm at a Springsteen show, just hanging out, and I'm talking with someone who runs one of the charities that Springsteen helps out. I look at him, and out of nowhere, I ask... "Did you do any acting back in the early 80's?"
It was him. He was somewhat mortified yet amused someone remembered him.

That's pretty funny. What's embarrassing about being filmed next to the lovely Phoebe Cates, though?

What weird pairing that was...

Fast Times at Ridgemont High isn't even a titty flick; and it may still be the greatest titty flick of all time.
I vote '80s with '70s a very close second.

80's hands down, although that era ran into the early 90's too.

I voted 70's, just showing my age, seems like there were obligitory tittys in all the movies then. I was a kid and I loved it!

I loved the 80's comedies because you knew you were going to see some tit. I remember taping "Revenge of the Nerds" on Encore when I was like 12 just to rewind and rewatch the parts with bare tit. The amount of excitement I got out of a bare breast at that age was indescribable.

C'mon, this poll is completely unfair to all the other decades because it is 80's all the way. Hell it was cause of the 80's showing titties films that a movie liked "Zapped" gets at least two stars. The movie was terrible up until the part that Scott Baio starts ripping the clothes off all the girls with his mind powers. 80's dominates it all the way...
And for the record, I once started a thread similar to this one where I gripped about the lack of gratuitous nudity anymore HERE (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=63768).
I mean last year they came out with a fucking awful re-make of "Prom Night", and if I recall the original had a few of those gratuitous nudity scenes. This new one was a completely neutered version with some very hot broads. Miss the gratuitous nudity in movies.

Totally agree with everything you said. Comedies these days (even the very few Rated R ones) are lacking with gratuitous nudity. Making money is all that matters now in hollywood, and unfortunately there will be more and more and more and more PG-13's. Sigh!

i really thought the 80s would have a lot of competition from the 60s with all those Russ Meyers films alone. But I was wrong. And good for the 80s...it had shitty music, shitty mainstream movies, shitty clothes..atleast it did one thing right!

Would you call any skin flick a titty flick? The 80s definately blow away everyone else for the fun, good natured teen titty comedy but you have all the Emmanuelle stuff from the 70s that they used to show on Prism.

yeah the Emmanuelle stuff counts...those are all in the "explotation" genre of 70s films. The only disqualification for this "erotica by decade" poll is hardcore fucking. If giant hairy muffs are your thing, by all means vote for the 70s!

It was the 80's all the way. I remember sitting up late at night watching Cinemax with the sound all the way down to watch all those stupid "naughty" movies. I'm trying to think of some of them...Porky's, Bachelor Party, Blue Lagoon, Once Bitten....

They used to say stuff like "It's a family comedy, so there'd better be some tits in it" pre PG-13.

I just watched a movie I picked up at the $3 rack at Big Lots, "National Lampoon's Pucked". It came out in 2006 and there are quite a few gratuitous topless shots. Most of them were real, not too much silicone. It never gets old.
Not a bad little movie considering National Lampoon slaps it's name on anything recently. Decent director, Jon Bon Jovi's hair is perfect, Estella Warren (who, sadly, keeps her clothes on), David Faustino, Cary Elwes, Nora Dunn and an unshaven Curtis Armstrong.
Maybe there's still hope for the future.

I just searched, and I can't find any other movies directed by Jon Bon Jovi's hair. Can you recommend one?

At least David's sister got Milla to take her coat off.

Hey PapaBear, I think spoon has hijacked your screen name...
Anyway, there was a comma between "decent director" and "Jon Bon Jovi" (ah, you knew that, you guys are the best). It was Arthur Hiller directing, check out his credits:
