They recently reunited for a few wildfire benefit concerts in Australia.

Peter Garrett is an awesome dancer.

I saw them a couple times back in the early 90's and loved them. I'd see them again if they toured the States.

They actually had a handful of some pretty fucking great albums. Now I have Back on the Borderline stuck in my head.

i have a few of their albums, and they're great.

i saw them at Radio City and it was the loudest concert i've ever been to. i honestly worried that i might have a heart attack during the show, cuz the bass was so deep it seemed to be jiggling my internal organs!

after the first encore, the doors opened, and half of the people left. then the ushers closed the doors and they did a second encore. the idiots that left were pounding on the doors, but they weren't let back in.

as a reminder: a concert's not over until the house lights come on. and even then, stick around for a while until the exiting crowd thins-out a bit.

Kudos to you sir.

Based on this thread, I just downloaded "Dreamworld" from iTiunes. Hadn't heard that song in like twenty years.

Great band. I saw them at radio City in the late 80's.

Peter Garrett spent some time as a member of Australia's House of Representatives. His platform centered on environmental issues and the rights of Australia's indigenous peoples.

and looks like a Troma Films actor. Diesel and Dust still casts quite a spell 20 yrs later.
