What snack made your day better once you found it in your lunchbox?

To me it was the old Hostess Fruit Pies. I haven't had one in years. I'm not sure if they've changed the recipe (I do know they dropped the magical fruit pie on the wrapper), or if my gradeschool tastebuds were just unjustly romanticizing their artificially flavored greatness.

Here is my order of preference: Apple, Cherry and possibly Lemon.

God forbid my mother snuck a Blueberry in there - she'd have a kick to the cunt coming to her afterschool.

True story - I loved those fucking fruit pies as a kid, but one day I was eating one and I noticed a half a worm in a chunk of apple and another one mixed in there. Never touched one again.

Oh hell fucking yeah, I still buy these at 711. The trick is you need the one that has TWO square pies in it rather than the one large doody shaped pie.

I can't buy these anymore, I seriously eat almost the whole box in one sitting. I was so ashamed that I would pack two packages into one pack so it didn't look like I was eating two.

This is weird. I had a Hostess Apple pie just 10 minutes ago!. They aren't that great, but I get in the mood for them sometimes. I recently had an Entenmann's Apple pie and it was terrific. I haven't found any since, though.

I loved the apple pie. Blueberry was a close second. I haven't had one of these in forever either.

I loved chocodiles. I found a chocolate shop in Freehold that makes gourmet chocodiles, dipped in real milk or dark chocolate. Sooooooo good.
