ISDN 128k replaces my 2400 baud modem. The ISDN is an ISA bus replacing the parallel port 2400 baud.

There is no way I could go back to living in the 56k slow lane. I think my head would explode waiting for pages to load. I remember (a LONG time ago) going from a 14.4k to 56k thinking wow AOL is going to load so much faster, maybe I should bump up my ram to 128mb too.
Cable is easy to get used to.

I can see this turning into another argument like the digital vs. vinyl:

56K: The downloads are slower, so the video card can process the information better and give you a better quality picture.

where i work, one of our offices shares a 512k line for the entire office! i can't imagine how painful that must be, let alone going back to dial-up.
