Would you rather give an oral presentation or turn in a written report?

Talking in front of people is easy and you don't deal with grammar nazis.

i'm not afraid of speaking in front of people, but i can get my point across easier and more coherently if i can write it down and work it out on paper.

<font color="deeppink"> I always prefer an oral presentation bc I can make things up as I go along, and its all forgotten by me and the listeners within about 15 seconds of hearing it. I also get to use my over exaggerated movements and faces to make what I am saying seem important.

My written stuff is very boring and filled with typos as you can tell from my posts

written, well, you see how I type my posts

I have the grammar of a half shirted 3rd grader

I don't know, but ever since I am playing in grown up world my presentations have to be written and then presented orally...

I'd rather keep my bullshit undocumented.

Unless there are copious notes taken...

I can remain in the (somewhat) clear.

ORAL ALL THE WAY.

Personally I prefer to perform orally, but I've been known to add the use my hands to get my point across. Body language is everything.

i feared public speaking so i made myself become a teacher. its only gotten a lot easier because i teach the same exact class day in & day out. but my written work was never done well.

Depends on the level of preparation. I am a really strong writer but if given time to research into what i need to talk about i can do well there too, i do get very anxious though it usually goes away after talking for a bit.

Neither. Its why I barely made it through high school and failed out of college.

I have succeeded in both professionally and educationally despite my mental issues and anxiety. Professionally I taught a lot and had to write or co-author papers, higher education wise was more written so I guess I am a mixed bag.

Oh, and you're not that great with the written word either.

I would say written. However, I've gotten in fights over emails because it hard to convey your tone. I was joking around and they thought I was pissed.

Mouth. I give presentations at my job and it's one of my favorite parts.

Oral is lovely.

Usually doesn't need to be as long as a written report.
