This is really a strange twist and I guess no one really knows what goes on behind peoples bedrooms
I guess it does not mean you are a bad person in other parts of your lives though. It is s shame when you think that this is how his parents will discover their sons hidden side. It just adds to their sadness.

I don't think it would have until I saw the age of the perp. Then I'm going to say yeah. Now, we don't know if he made a habit of this, and maybe he was getting hustled, but still, it went from a sad story to an incredibly creepy and sad story in about 10 seconds.

Considering Hannity did a tribute to him, this is starting to look like McMahon giving a tribute to Benoit.

I don't know if George was "quietly" out. Some people are, especially in radio. But some people, you have no idea.

I'm pretty sure he didn't have Facebook, unless he had a secret facebook page. Several of my colleagues worked with George and he wasn't up on their pages.

I was just repeating what was written in the NYT

The officials said that Mr. Weber, 47, and the teenager apparently met through the Craigslist Web site. One of the officials, who declined to be identified because he was not authorized to speak about the case, said that Mr. Weber had posted advertisements on Craigslist and messages on his Facebook page saying that he was interested in meeting young Hispanic men.

This story is really depressing. It's sad enough that he was done in by some nihilistic maniac, but just imagine how alone he was emotionally to endure the personalities at WABC. Very sad...

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was not a pedophile. While he may have been interested in young men, I don't think someone who goes on craigslist looking for violent gay sex is going to card a willing participant. Besides, this kid was minutes from being within NY's age of legal consent.
