Dark Knight Returns vs. Watchmen

Pretty straight forward, which one is better graphic novel?

of the two, i chose dark knight. but i like batman begins better than dark knight.

That last Batman movie was dogshit. Couldn't get through 45 minutes of the DVD, thank God I didn't pay for it.

The Watchmen held my interest the entire time. My vote goes to them.

Dark knight was a lot more interesting. Watchmen trie to hard to be brutal love scene killed it for me

It's hard for me to compare the two.
I think TDK is more accessible. It's an amazing collection of really cool scenes.

Watchmen has a lot more going on. It's the kind of movie you need to see more than once if ya wanna really digest it.
Having said that, I don't think history will be kind to Watchmen. It's sooo stylized that it'll definitely seem dated in just a few years. TDK is more straight forward and way less flashy.

I give both movies a big thumbs up.

No comic is in the same league as the Watchmen. Sheer ambition outs it over the top of all of the competition.

Since we're talking about graphic novels, I'd have to say Watchmen beats the ass out of TDK graphic novel.
